There are five differences between copper ball valve and stainless steel ball valve:
1.Different materials: they are made of completely different materials. The copper ball valve is mainly made of copper., Stainless steel ball valve is made of stainless steel.
2. Different corrosion resistance: the corrosion resistance of copper ball valve is better than that of stainless steel ball valve. The switch operation is smooth, labor-saving and durable. Stainless steel will not produce corrosion, pitting, rust or wear and is resistant to high temperatures. Generally, stainless steel is more expensive.
3. Different temperatures: under the same pressure environment, if the medium temperature does not exceed 80 degrees, stainless steel ball valves can be used; if the temperature exceeds 80 degrees, copper ball valves must be used.
4. Price difference: copper ball valve is more expensive, while stainless steel ball valve is cheaper than copper ball valve. 5. Applicable substances are different: stainless steel ball valves can be used to control the flow of air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid gold, radioactive media and other types of fluids; Copper ball valves are suitable for general working media such as water, solvent, acid and natural gas, and also for media with poor working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane and ethylene.
Stainless steel ball valve
The stainless steel ball valve can be closed tightly with only 90 degree rotation operation and small rotation torque. The completely equal inner cavity of the valve body provides a straight flow passage with little resistance for the medium. The main characteristics of the ball valve are its compact structure, easy operation and maintenance. The stainless steel ball valve can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media. The valve body of the ball valve can be integral or combined. This type of valve shall be installed horizontally in the pipeline.
Copper ball valve
The copper ball valve is compact in structure, reliable in sealing, simple in structure, and easy to maintain. The sealing surface and spherical surface are often closed, not easily eroded by the medium, and easy to operate and maintain. It is suitable for general working media such as water, solvent, acid, natural gas, and also for media with poor working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, ethylene, etc. It is widely used in various industries. The valve body of the ball valve can be integral or combined.
